STORIES
Where photographs and text sit together
Some images don’t belong in a tight portfolio on their own. They make more sense as a small series with a bit of background. Here you’ll find shorter and longer pieces built around sequences of photographs. They add context to trips and encounters, give room to side stories, and show details that might otherwise stay in the margins.
WALKING WITH LOCAL EYES
Time is often limited. Walking with local photographers shifted my focus from finding places to learning how to move through them.
YUCATÁN AT A DIFFERENT PACE
Travelling with only a film camera changed the pace. Without a screen to check, it was easier to simply be there and pay attention.
WHAT I FOUND IN IRAN
Iran unfolded through encounters rather than expectations. Brief conversations in the street, quiet hospitality in villages, and small moments of curiosity that shaped the journey more than any landmark.
THE FRAGILE BALANCE
Traveling through Vietnam made me see how daily life, tradition and tourism overlap. Sometimes in balance, sometimes not.
BETWEEN MEMORY AND DISCOVERY
A trip following my father’s roots in Java, mixed with my early steps in photography and the small things I noticed along the way.
AMONG THE CHARCOAL MAKERS
A short visit with charcoal makers in rural Cuba. Hard work, heavy smoke and a surprisingly open, relaxed hour together.
